Seemingly, we shall not worry, History will continue offering a series of Middle Ages and Renaissances, while the Sun does not appear so inclined to explode, as foretold. Not too soon, anyway. There, where Tomorrow has left permission to take away, some finds have been retrieved. Future’s fragments nestled in our Present.

Niente preamboli, abbiamo viaggiato nel Pluritempo grazie ad un cronotraslatatore recapitatoci in forma anonima agli albori del 2017. A quanto pare non abbiamo di che preoccuparci, la Storia continuerà ad offrire un susseguirsi di Medioevi e Rinascimenti, mentre il Sole non sembra così deciso a esplodere come profetizzato. Non troppo in fretta perlomeno. Laddove il Domani ha lasciato licenza d’esporto, sono stati recuperati alcuni reperti. Frammenti dell’Avvenire incastonati nel nostro Presente.
UKRON
Ukron is the currency in circulation as of January 2504. We have legally come into possession of it during some time travel in the Pluritime. Sources of the time suggest that a single Ukron is worth about 1,123.58 euros today. For technomagical reasons, we are donating the entire capital in denominations of 100, 50, and 20. The graphic implants bear the signatures of Giorgio Finamore VIII, XIV, and XVI. We know that they are a series of homeomorphic clones extracted from the genetic matrix of the artist of the same name. They preserve 96.2% of his talent, but compensate with a set of eight pairs of upper limbs.
ATTENTION: if you have come into possession of a few dozen or hundreds of Ukron, remember that they will only come into circulation on January 1, 2504. Therefore, be patient or use them creatively.
Ukron è la valuta in vigore a partire dal gennaio dell’anno 2504, ne siamo lecitamente venuti in possesso nel corso di qualche cronoviaggio nel Pluritempo.
Fonti dell’epoca danno a intendere che un singolo Ukron oggi valga circa 1123,58€. Per ragioni di natura tecnomagica stiamo donando l’intero capitale in tagli da 100, 50 e 20.
Gli impianti grafici recano le firme di Giorgio Finamore VIII, XIV e XVI. Sappiamo essere una serie di cloni omeomorfi estratti dalla matrice genetica dell’omonimo artista contemporaneo.
Ne preservano il 96,2% del talento, ma compensano con una dotazione di otto paia di arti superiori.
ATTENZIONE: se siete entrati in possesso di qualche decina o centinaia di Ukron, ricordate che entreranno in vigore solo il 1° gennaio 2504, quindi siate pazienti o fatene un uso creativo.

The DustyEye group owns a Chrono-conveyor (usually called, indeed, “Time machine”) and it has been travelling into Tomorrow for more than two years, providing documentary evidences for each Chrono-travel, with the plaques and finds of the Best of All Possible Futures series. Jumps into Tomorrow about which the group claims not to have any control in terms of length and destination. In 2018, DustyEye have handed out thousands of Ukron, the global currency in effect starting from the beginning of the XXVI century.
On the banknote valid for 100 Ukron stands out the effigy of N°44 V864.962, the first emotionally advanced android (Pescara, 2292 - Rome 2379). N°44 must have had a prominent role in the Next History for deserving his portrait on paper money, the reason why DustyEye have faced the colossal challenge to piece together his life and work.

Il gruppo DustyEye possiede un Cronotrasportatore (comunemente detto appunto “macchina del Tempo”) e da oltre due anni viaggia nel Domani documentando ogni cronotrasferta con le targhe e i reperti del ciclo Il Migliore dei Futuri Possibili. Salti nell'Avvenire su cui il gruppo dichiara di non avere alcun controllo in termini di durata e destinazione. Nel 2018 i DustyEye hanno distribuito migliaia di Ukron, la valuta globale in corso a partire dai primi anni del XXVI° secolo.
Sulle banconote da 100 Ukron spiccava l’effige di N°44 V864.962, il primo androide emotivamente avanzato (Pescara 2292 - Roma 2379). N°44 deve aver avuto un ruolo saliente nella Storia Ventura per meritarsi il ritratto riprodotto sulla cartamoneta, motivo per cui i DustyEye hanno affrontato la titanica impresa di ricostruirne la vita e le opere.

According to the annals of Pluritime, it was on February 3, 2379, when Maxtor, a specimen of the Canis lupus familiaris species, fused his consciousness with advanced machine intelligence. This hybridization granted Maxtor the rare ability to navigate the Pluritime, breaking free from a linear existence bound by the laws of cause and effect.
The group of chrono-travelers known as DustyEye, with the assistance of Moscabianca Edizioni, has decided to track down Maxtor or, at the very least, shed light on the events that occurred starting from the late 24th century, the moment when the cybercanine disappeared without a trace. Despite some experience in terms of time jumps, the task is proving to be more challenging than anticipated.
The initial descriptions depict Maxtor as a docile mixed-breed dog of medium size with black fur, except for a sprinkling of white on the muzzle, belly, and the tips of the paws.
As distinctive features, Maxtor has a cybernetic eye and a transmitting device installed at the base of the neck. Is it an olfactory antenna? A sensory dish? Or simply a telekinetic parabolic antenna?

Secondo gli annali del Pluritempo era il 3 febbraio 2379 quando Maxtor, un esemplare di specie Canis lupus familiaris, fuse la propria coscienza con un’avanzata intelligenza macchinica. L’ibridazione conferì a Maxtor la rara facoltà di spostarsi nel Pluritempo svincolandosi da un’esistenza lineare al guinzaglio della legge di causa/effetto.
Il gruppo di cronoviandanti DustyEye con l’aiuto di Moscabianca Edizioni ha deciso di rintracciare Maxtor, o quantomeno di far luce sui fatti avvenuti a partire dal tardo XXIV secolo, momento in cui il cybercane fece perdere le proprie tracce. Nonostante una certa esperienza in termini di cronobalzi, il compito si sta dimostrando più arduo dei pronostici.
I primi riscontri descrivono Maxtor come un docile meticcio di taglia media e pelo nero, salvo per una spolverata di bianco sul muso, sul ventre e alle estremità delle zampe.
Come tratti distintivi: un occhio cibernetico e un dispositivo ricetrasmittente installato alla base della nuca. Un’antenna olfattiva? Una parabola sensoriale? O banalmente un’antenna parabolica telecinetica?

An entirely digital building in memory of the android N44 V864.962, promoter of the brotherhood between Humanity and Machine, will be erected from the parts of the 25th century.
Playing nearly seventy-four decades ahead, we are delighted to present Mausoleum 44, a tribute to the memory of the First Emotionally Advanced Android.
In spite of a canonical Mausoleum, this building also possesses the nature of Agora. Inside, individual recollection is therefore appreciated as much as collective dialogue.

Giocando in anticipo di quasi settantaquattro lustri, siamo lieti di presentare Mausoleo 44, un omaggio alla memoria del Primo Androide Emotivamente Avanzato.
A dispetto di un canonico Mausoleo, questo edificio possiede anche la natura di Agorà. All’interno è quindi apprezzato tanto il raccoglimento individuale, quanto il dialogo collettivo.
